Certified copies of birth, death and marriage certificates may be obtained from the office of the County Recorder in the following ways. ONLINE - Click here to order VITAL Records online. IN PERSON - You may come into the office, complete a request,
pay the required fee and a copy will be made for you while you wait. Copy orders are
made until 4:45 p.m. each day. Requests submitted after that time will be processed
the following day. We require identification. Please see below concerning office closures due to budget constraints. BY MAIL - You may mail your request to our office along with the required fee and your copy will be made within 24 hours of receipt and mailed back to you. All applicants requesting certified copies of birth, death or marriage certificates must complete an application form and their signature must be notarized. BY FAX or PHONE - Requests for certified copies of marriage, birth and death certificates may be ordered by fax using the correct form. These forms must be notarized & paid by credit card. The Assessor-County Clerk-Recorders offices are closed everyother Friday for Mandatory Time Off (MTO) due to budget constraints. If you are planning to visit our office on a Friday, PLEASE call first (707) 463-4376 to make sure we are open. We are available for RECORDING documents on MTO days.
