Section II APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. This application is not a permit to burn.
  2. The application must be filled out completely.
  3. Incomplete applications will delay the permit process. The District may request additional information.

  5. You will receive a burn permit from the District following a payment of $17.
  6. Payment options include: online with a credit card or mailing a check in the amount of $17. Online payments will incur a non-refundable service fee.
  7. All burning must comply with Federal, State, County, and local fire protection agency burn requirements.
  8. Burning vegetative matter on your property prior to obtaining a permit from the District is a violation of District Regulations and subject to penalties.

Section V SMOKE MANAGMENT 5-YEAR PLAN INFORMATION

Smoke Management Plans are for burns meeting any of the following conditions:
  • Broadcast burns cumulatively exceeding ten (10) or more acres per year
  • Burn piles cumulatively exceeding fifty (50) tons of fuel per year
  • Burning in close proximity to sensitive receptors, such as, school, hospitals, care facilities and businesses

  3. A confirmation will be sent by email with your payment ID # and a link for the online payment option. The burn permit fee is $17.
