The Board is prohibited by law from taking action on matters not on the agenda, but may ask questions to clarify the speaker's comment. The Board limits testimony on matters not on the agenda to 3 minutes per person and not more than 10 minutes for a particular subject at the discretion of the Chair of the Board.

Individuals wishing to address the Board under Public Expression are welcome to do so throughout the meeting. To best facilitate these items, please review and complete the public comment/speaker form available at the back of the Boardroom and present to the Clerk. Recommended Action/Motion: Provide direction to staff on matters of legislation.

Recommended Action/Motion: Adopt the 2016 Mendocino County Legislative Platform as presented, and direct staff to forward the adopted platform to our State and Congressional representatives and County department heads.

(d)        Discussion and Possible Action on Scope of Work for Identifying Strategies to Mitigate Pre-Fire Hazards such as Dead Standing Trees; and Authorization for Staff to Extend Agreement with Fire Safe Council  to March 31, 2016

Recommended Action/Motion: Receive the scope of work presentation for identifying strategies to mitigate pre-fire hazards such as dead standing trees from the Fire Safe Council (FSC); and authorize staff to extend Agreement with FSC to March 31, 2016.

(e)         Discussion and Presentation of Sonoma Clean Power’s (SCP) Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) Program’s New Customer Community Policy D-4 and Possible Authorization to Send a Member of the Board of Supervisors to Represent the County at SCP’s February 4, 2016, Board Meeting

Recommended Action/Motion: Receive the presentation of Sonoma Clean Power’s (SCP) community choice aggregation program’s new customer community policy D-4; and authorize a member of the Board of Supervisors to represent the County at SCP’s February 4, 2016, Board meeting.
