Recommended Action/Motion: That the Board of Supervisors provides
direction to staff regarding matters of legislation.
Recommended Action/Motion: Adopt Resolution to place a measure on
the November 6, 2012, ballot to renew abandoned vehicle authority fees pursuant
to Vehicle Code sections 9250.7 and 22710, and authorize Chair to sign same.

County Water Agency; and the Board of Supervisors Acting as the Governing Board
of the Successor Agency for the Redevelopment Agency of the County of Mendocino.

Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with FamiliesFirst, Inc. in the amount of $150,000 to provide
intensive day treatment and specialty mental health services to children in
Level 14 placement in Fiscal Year 2012/2013; and authorize the Health and Human
Services Agency Director to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do
not increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with Ford Street Project, Inc. in the Amount of $153,304 for the
provision of homeless shelter and homeless services in Fiscal Year 2012/2013;
and authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director to sign any future
amendments to the agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center, Inc. in the amount of
$81,624 to provide homeless resource services in Fiscal Year 2012/2013; and
authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director to sign any future
amendments to the agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign Agreement with Redwood Children's Services Inc. in the amount of $804,738
to provide emergency shelter services in Fiscal Year 2012/2013; and authorize
the HHSA Director to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do not
increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with St. Vincent's School for Boys in the amount of $150,000 to
provide mental health treatment to children of Mendocino County in Fiscal Year
2012/2013; and authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director to sign
any future amendments to the agreement that do not increase the maximum
allowable amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with TLC Child & Family Services in the amount of $656,454
to provide emergency shelter care for children in Fiscal Year 2012/2013; and
authorize the HHSA Director to sign any future amendments to the agreement that
do not increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign agreement with Willow Glen Care Center in Yuba City and in Paradise in the
amount of $325,000 to provide residential care services to adults with Mental
Illness in Fiscal Year 2012/2013; and authorize the Health and Human Service
Agency Director to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do not
increase the annual maximum amount.

Approval of
Amendment 2 to BOS Agreement No. 11-142 with BlackTalon Enterprises, Inc.
(Napa, CA) Increasing Agreement Amount by $12,096 for a New Total Agreement
Amount of $78,552 to Provide Uniformed Security Officers at the Health and Human Services Agency, Willits Integrated
Service Center and the Public Health Building in Ukiah in Fiscal Year 2011/2012
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve amendment 2 to BOS agreement no.
11-142 with Black Talon Enterprises, Inc. increasing agreement amount by
$12,096 for a new total agreement amount of $78,552 to provide uniformed
security officers at the Health and Human Services Agency, Willits Integrated
Service Center and the Public Health Building in Ukiah in Fiscal Year
2011/2012; and authorize the HHSA Director to sign any future amendments to the
agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve and authorize the Board Chair to
sign the revenue agreement between the City of Ukiah and Mendocino County
Animal Care Services in the amount of $62,224 to reimburse the County for
providing animal care services in FY 2012/2013; and authorize the HHSA Director
to sign any future amendments to the agreement that do not increase the annual
maximum amount.
(q)
Ratification of
the Grant Application by the Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency
(HHSA) - Public Health Branch from the Center for Substance Abuse and
Prevention in the Amount of $50,000 for 12 Months Beginning
October 1, 2012; and Adoption of Resolution Authorizing the HHSA Director to
Accept all Future Renewals through 2016
Recommended Action/Motion: Ratify the Mendocino County HHSA Public
Health Branch grant application from the Center of Substance Abuse and Prevention
in the amount of $50,000 for 12 months beginning October 1, 2012; and approve
and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Resolution authorizing the HHSA
Director to accept all future renewals through 2016 and to sign any future
amendments to the grant.
HUMAN RESOURCES
Recommended Action/Motion: It is recommended that the Mendocino
County Board of Supervisors adopt the Resolution and approve the Memorandum of
Understanding between the County of Mendocino and the Mendocino County
Department Head Association for the term of July 24, 2012, through July 31,
2013, and authorize Chair to sign same.
Recommended Action/Motion: It is recommended that the Mendocino
County Board of Supervisors adopt the resolution and approve the Memorandum of
Understanding between the County of Mendocino and Teamsters Local 856
representing the Mendocino County Probation Employees Association for the term
of July 24, 2012, through December 31, 2013, and authorize Chair to sign same.

PROBATION
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve the agreement with
SHERIFF-CORONER
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve a five-year agreement between
Sheriff's Office and BI, Inc., and authorize the Chair to sign same; and further,
authorize the Sheriff to sign the additional three one-year extensions.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve the agreement so the Sheriff's
Office can be reimbursed by Pacific Gas and Electric Company for patrol
services.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve the amendment to BOS Agreement
No. 11-059 with California Forensic Medical Group to include mental health
services for inmates.

Recommended Action/Motion: Approve the application for the annual
Art in the Redwoods.
Recommended Action/Motion: Approve the extension of the term of BOS
