County Water Agency; and the Board of Supervisors Acting as the Governing Board
of the Successor Agency for the Redevelopment Agency of the County of
Mendocino.

Recommended Action/Motion: Adopt the Resolution as submitted,
authorizing the Chair to sign same.

Resolution Pursuant to Caltrans/California Highway Patrol's Joint Policy
Guidelines for Special Events on State Conventional Highways in Order to Obtain
a Permit from Caltrans for the Elk Volunteer Fire Department's "Great Day in Elk" Parade, to be held in Elk, California, on
Saturday, August 24, 2013 (Sponsor: Supervisor Hamburg)
Recommended Action/Motion: Adopt the Resolution as presented,
authorizing the Chair to sign same; and further, direct the Clerk of the Board
to forward copies of the Resolution to the District Permit Coordinator,
Caltrans (Eureka), the California Highway Patrol, and the Elk Volunteer Fire
Department.

13-01, declare intent to establish speed zone recommended by Traffic Study No.
13-01, direct the Department of Transportation to prepare and submit an
ordinance establishing prima facie speed limits as presented in Traffic Study
13-01, and authorize and direct the Department of Transportation to erect,
place and maintain the appropriate traffic control devices.
