Recommended Action/Motion: Award $186,000 in grant funding to Board designated organizations from the Fiscal Year 2015-16 Community Benefit Fund, and further direct staff to execute the necessary contracts.
(c) Approval of the Appointment of an Ad Hoc Committee Consisting of Supervisors Hamburg and Gjerde to work with County Staff and Local Fire Departments to Review Funding of Fire Departments and Emergency Medical Services and to Possibly Bring Back Recommendations to the Board of Supervisors (Sponsors: Supervisors Hamburg and Gjerde)
Recommended Action/Motion: Appoint Supervisors Hamburg and Gjerde to an ad hoc committee to work with County staff and local fire departments to review funding of fire departments and emergency medical services and to possibly bring back recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
