(a) Discussion and Possible Action Regarding a Request from the County of Sonoma to Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the Counties of Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt, the Sonoma County Water Agency, Marin Municipal Water District, and the Mendocino County Russian River Flood Control and Water Conservation Improvement District Regarding the North Coast Zebra and Quagga Mussel Consortium; and Consideration of Funding for the Lake Mendocino Quagga/Zebra Mussel Vulnerability Study (Sponsor: Supervisor Brown)
Recommended Action/Motion: To approve the signing of the MOU between the Counties of Sonoma, Mendocino, Humboldt, the Sonoma County Water Agency, the Marin Municipal Water District, and the Mendocino County Russian River Flood Control and Water Conservation Improvement District Regarding the North Coast Zebra and Quagga Mussel Consortium; and approve the funding of up to $5000 for the Lake Mendocino Quagga/Zebra Mussel Vulnerability Study.

The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors meets concurrently as the Board of Directors of the: In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Governing Board; Mendocino County Air Quality Management District; Mendocino County Library District; Mendocino County Public Facilities Corporation; Mendocino County Water Agency; and the Board of Supervisors Acting as the Governing Board of the Successor Agency for the Redevelopment Agency of the County of Mendocino.
