Caretaking
The County Parks system is operated and maintained by the Facilities and Fleet Division of the General Services Agency. In addition, some of
the parks have on-site caretakers to provide daily patrols and
cleanup, and in some cases, to assist with park reservations.
Reservations
Reservations of specific areas of several County parks may be made for
parties, picnics, receptions, and other events. Reservation information
is included for each park, along with rates and any restrictions that
may apply.
General Services Agency staff handle reservations for parks in the Ukiah area: Low Gap, Mill Creek, and Redwood Valley Lions Club parks. The caretakers at Bower Park and Indian Creek Park receive payments directly, however, use is on a first-come/first-serve basis.
For general information, you may contact the General Services Agency; our staff will be happy to help you learn more about our County parks!
Volunteers
