Shelter SpotlightThese two buddies go by the names Gary and Rodney. Gary is a 5-year-old shepherd mix who is handsome, youthful and sweet as can be: A great companion, he adores people and other dogs. Rodney is a 3-year-old 12-pound poodle who is mild mannered, house trained, likes other dogs and is described by shelter staff as a very easy dog. These two friends are anxious to have their own homes again with people to love and who will love them back.

Please Note: Animal Control in unincorporated areas of Mendocino County is handled by the Mendocino County Sheriffs Office. All field service calls in the County which include loose dogs, barking dogs, humane complaints and animal bites should be called in to the Sheriffs dispatch at 463-4086. Similar calls within the Ukiah city limits should be directed to the Ukiah Police Department at 463-6262, and within the Ft Bragg city limits should be directed to the Ft Bragg Police Department at 964-0200.
