Shelter Spotlight:

Meet Avery!

Avery is an adorable, very smart, spayed, female Boston Terrier mix. She weighs just 28 pounds so is perfect for a family who wishes a smaller dog

Avery had a great start in her life 4 years ago. You can tell her person put a lot of time into training her. Avery's only challenge is that she has not had enough exposure to other dogs, so she will do best as the only dog in her new home.

She will love to play with you and get all your love!

Boston Terriers are very smart and easily trained dogs. Known for being gentle, these dogs have a strong, happy-go-lucky, friendly personality.

We have many other cats and dogs available for adoption, awaiting for their forever homes. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and micro-chipped.  In addition, cats are tested for FELV/FIV and dogs are tested for heartworm.

Animal Care Services is located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah. You can stop by without an appointment between the hours of 10 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Tuesday through Saturday. On Wednesday, we are open until 6:30 P.M. For any questions or concerns, please call Sage at 707-463-4654 or email mountais@co.mendocino.ca.us.
