Shelter Spotlight:
Meet Katy Purry!

This beautiful calico cat is Katy Purry. She is two years old and spayed.

Katy gets along great with other cats so a home with feline friends would suit her just fine. However, Katy does feel like she is above the canine species and could not possibly share her new home with a smelly dog!

Katy Purry has a friendly, affectionate personality and will make a great addition to her new family.

We have many dogs and cats available for adoption, awaiting for their forever homes. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and micro-chipped. In addition, cats are tested for FELV/FIV and dogs are tested for heartworm.

Animal Care Services is located at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah. You can stop by without an appointment between the hours of 10 A.M to 4:30 P.M. Tuesday through Saturday. On Wednesday, we are open until 6:30 P.M. For any questions or concerns, please call Sage at 707-463-4654 or email mountais@co.mendocino.ca.us.

To view more pictures and bios of more of our wonderful adoptable cats and dogs, visit our website www.mendoshelterpets.com.

Have you lost your pet? Please visit our shelter during shelter hours to look through our kennels, fill out a lost animal report, and before you leave, we will be happy to give you a brochure with tips and resources for looking for your lost pet. In addition, we also recommend that you log on to www.petharbor.com to search for your pet.

Please Note: Animal control in unincorporated areas of Mendocino County is handled by the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. Field service calls outside of Ukiah or Fort Bragg city limits including loose dogs, barking dogs, humane complaints or animal bites should be called into the Sheriff's dispatch at 707-463-4086. In Ukiah, call the Ukiah Police Department at 707-463-6262. In Fort Bragg, call the Fort Bragg Police Department at 707-964-0200.
