Mission Statement

To be committed to consumers, their families and the delivery of quality care with the goals of recovery, human dignity, and the opportunity for individuals to meet their full potential.

News & Notes

The Mental Health Board is an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors and the Mental Health Services Director on matters concerning mental health in the county. The Mental Health Board is mandated by state law, and consists of 15 board member positions and one County Supervisor.

The Mental Health Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at various locations. The current year meeting schedule is located under Meeting Information below.

Mental Health Board Seeking Applicants

The Board is encouraging interested Community members to apply for vacant seats on the Mental Health Board. Each of the five county districts has three seats on the Mental Health Board. Applicants are appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

The application form for the Board is available here or by calling 707-472-2355. Meetings are held every month at various locations around the county. Member mileage is reimbursed.
