The Mental Health Board is an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors and Mental Health Services Director on matters concerning mental health in the county. The Mental Health Board is mandated by state law, and consists of fifteen board member positions and one County Supervisor. The Mental Health Board meets from 9:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at various locations around the County. Mental Health Board Seeking ApplicantsThe Board is encouraging interested Community members to apply for vacant seats on the Mental Health Board. Each of the five county districts has three seats on the Mental Health Board. Applicants are appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The application form for the Board is available here or by calling 472-2355. Meetings are held every month at various locations around the county. Member mileage is reimbursed.
