The Health Plan is administered by Delta Health Systems of Stockton. The process all of the medical dental and vision claims for the 1,300 employees and 1,400 dependents enrolled in the program. The Health Plan also provides life and accidental death and dismemberment coverage to the employees enrolled in the Health Plan. The Board of Supervisors has established the Health Benefits Committee to monitor, assist, and make recommendations on all matters related to the Health Plan. The nine-member committee is comprised of representatives from each of the County's bargaining units and is staffed by Human Resources with help from the Public Health Department.
